Our Story

Funkari began with a simple observation: all around Pakistan, women are building businesses of their own. Small-scale brands. Homegrown businesses. Handmade crafts. Ventures built from a skill, a passion, and a
whole lot of determination.

Inspired by the many women entrepreneurs our founder encountered, women turning their creativity, skills, and craftsmanship into livelihoods, Funkari was born from her desire to build something of her own while creating opportunities for other women to grow alongside it. And then there was Pakistan's craft. A love for the colours, patterns, techniques, and stories woven into our cultural heritage made one thing clear: our crafts deserve to be seen, celebrated, and introduced to a new generation.

So, Funkari brings the two together.

A love for craft. A belief in women. And a little bit of reimagining.
